This will be a MUST attend show in 2009. When layd out at the park started in 2005 it had 517 entries from all over the east from as far away as MS. This by far was the largest one day show we had. It was so large we had to switch it to a two day event in 2006.

In 2006 we switched it to a 2 day event and switched venues to the beautiful Cherokee Park. Attendance was up to 568 rides and countless spectators. The weather was breezy and the threat of a tornado which touched down in Knoxville didn't stop anyone from having a good time.

 In 2007 we had a FREEZING good time and the show was dubbed layd out at the glacier, snowed out at the park but the show still went off without a glitch. The extreme cold didn't stop people form attending this monstrous event. Attendance dropped to 376 and was due to the show fallng on Easter Sunday and the forecast was for snow.

LOATP took a break in 2008 to regroup and come back strong in 2009. So we have had our fair share of ups and downs over the past few years. We would like to thank everyone who has attended in the past and would like to invite everyone out again in 2009 to enjoy LAY'D OUT AT THE PARK once again minus the snow!
